Frequently asked questions
Why are words like “of” and “the” lowercase in title case?
Title case leaves short joining words (a, an, the, and, of, in, to, with and similar) lowercase unless they are the first or last word, or follow a colon. Everything else gets a capital first letter.
What about punctuation?
Upper, lower, title and sentence keep punctuation. Snake, kebab and camel strip non-alphanumeric separators.
