URL Encoder
Encoding a query value turns spaces, &, = and ? into codes such as %20. Encoding a whole link keeps the address structure and still encodes spaces. Decoding reverses it. A broken % code is rejected.
Frequently asked questions
Does a plus become a space?
No. A plus stays a plus. Some web forms use + for a space. This page uses percent codes only.
What is the difference between the two modes?
A query value encodes everything that has a meaning in a link, including / ? & = and #. A whole link keeps those so the address still works, and keeps codes that are already there.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. This runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste or drop is uploaded or stored by Qivtools.
